The annual ArtCenter Design Invitational (formerly the Car Classic) is truly an important event. This is a homecoming of wonderful cars that are the by-products of the school, and the creative, alumni minds. Mere mortals get to honor those that have made our lives worth living.
GM has revealed the second in a series of three Chevrolet Corvette concept design studies to debut in 2025. The California Corvette concept was developed by GM’s Advanced Design studios in Pasadena, as part of a global design project.
ArtCenter College of Design is a hub, focal point, gathering place, and launchpad for those in the creative fields. Arguably, the school is the global birthplace for the majority of car designers. Annually, the college pays homage to those with the ArtCenter Car Classic 2019.
ArtCenter’s annual Car Classic features unique, custom, specially built vehicles that will include early coachbuilt cars, custom hot rods and motorcycles, concept cars, bespoke supercars, and specially modified vehicles from all eras—classic to modern to concept.
