Infiniti Q60 Concept and the Power of Exhilaration

Infiniti today gives an intriguing first look at the premium sports coupe concept to be displayed at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Muscular lines are revealed in the silhouette of the Q60 Concept: pure, well-defined contours, making the concept's intentions easy to understand at first glance. Overall proportions and full-sized wheels placed out at the corners of Q60 Concept make an unmistakable design statement and add to the exhilaration of the performance coupe. This latest concept builds upon the design language seen on recent Infiniti concept cars, foreshadowing the strong visual consistency to be a key ingredient of products in the future Infiniti lineup.

Rocket Takes Flight

America has a love affair with all things related to space travel starting in the 60s and 70s. The recent automotive venture of Galpin Auto Sports and Henrik Fisker has created a project reflective of that time. No, the Rocket’s design isn’t similar to a metal cylinder, but it is unmistakably inspired by specialty pony cars of the 1960’s and early 1970’s including the 1968 Shelby GT500. The Rocket’s lines emanate from the front, through the long hood, over a set of sculptured flared fenders and converge on its integrated rear spoiler, belying the car’s extreme power and refined athleticism. The best part is you won’t have to shop around for rocket fuel, as gasoline will work just perfectly.
