An affiliate of StylingHaus is looking for multiple digital modelers that are ready to dive into one of its openings at an automotive design studio.
Description:
Primary support for creating Class –A models in support of pre-production and advanced design studio projects and proposals within automotive design studios in Southern California.
Duties:
1. Applies diversified knowledge and experience of engineering and digital design principles and practices in development of complete automotive exteriors and interiors.
2. Develops, Design sketch’s in a 3D format in cooperation with Designer.
3. Conducts digital design and assembly reviews utilizing latest visualization software.
4. Develops and evaluates models in conjunction with engineering team. Determines the feasibility and soundness of a proposed design or engineering solutions.
Required tools:
Proven conceptual and production design modeling experience within automotive, product, entertainment, or aircraft design studio environments’. Proficient in Alias, ICEM surf, or ISD Catia V5 3D modeling tools.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in product or transportation design and/or equivalent job experience.
Salary expectations:
TBD – based on experience in this field.
