Revealing the future of transportation through picture, Concept Design Quest will be releasing a number of out of this world designs! After months of exhausting work, the Kickstarter campaign is now underway at https://www.kickstarter.com
One of the 20 featured designs (12 are currently visible on Kickstarter) in the upcoming book is the Bumble Drone. This vehicle concept is a futuristic flying passenger drone.
Bumble Drone is an airborne passenger car that is sure to get the honeys. This radical concept comes complete with four solar prop-rockets working simultaneously to lift and zip passengers through the clouds. This beast is a ride for two and will be sure to turn heads on a dime.
The Bumble Drone is a product of a clean energy line, reducing a carbon footprint while increasing the fun. Its primary source of energy is solar powered, lightweight body panels. It is equipped with advance technology, such as Apple driving capabilities including SIRI-KITT.
This visionary book is the creation of a transportation design graduate from Art Center College of Design, Shawn Moghadam. “I have worked in the secretive automotive design world for many years and these designs have been my creative outlet from my experience and passion, I’ve been dreaming about and drawing vehicles since I was a little kid and I wanted to show what I think could be in our future” says Shawn.
Shawn decided there has to be a better way to showcase his ideas about future vehicle designs. This desire was a motivating factor in the creation of Concept Design Quest.
After years of research, ideation and development, Moghadam is now publishing a book about his favorite vehicles. Most of these design directions were picked in the early stages by votes from Facebook. Shawn is very enthusiastic about publishing this book, however he is limited in his abilities to do so by himself, and so getting the support of other admirers would be ideal.
Right now he’s working on a Kickstarter campaign that will start on March 9th 2016 (coincidentally the date of a Solar Eclipse).
Kickstarter campaigns operate under an “all-or-nothing” funding model, so if the Concept Design Quest project doesn’t reach its goal at the end of 30 days Shawn will go home empty-handed, as will those that are eager to get the book.

Shawn Moghadam studied Transportation Design (B.S.) at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Shawn’s concept work in vehicle design includes some of the most powerful companies in the industry, from GM to BMW to Walt Disney Imagineering.
As a child he became fascinated with cars and spaceships. After winning a Motor Trend design contest in 2000, he decided to pursue a design career. Currently, Shawn is combining his traditional design skills with advanced futurism concepts and an entertainment design philosophy. He is one of the talented team of designers at a Southern California automotive design studio, and teaches the Vehicle Design class at Gnomon-School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles.
