This year, ArtCenter’s annual Car Classic celebrates the 70th anniversary of the College’s Transportation Design program and the indelible mark our alumni have made on the world around us, and of course the cars that we know and love.
Many ArtCenter alumni of the school’s transportation design department represent the cream of the crop in the world of mobility design. This is why Car Classic is considered a “homecoming”.

Those who are frequent guests to this annual event at the Art Center College of Design have to laugh at the weather on this October morning. We typically have to brave one of two types of days for the gathering high a top the Pasadena hills. It’s either blistering hot - just a few degrees cooler than the surface of the sun, or rain.
