Ed Welburn knows a thing or two about the history of GM cars: He started with the company in 1972 and ascended ranks among the design community before landing in his current title in 2005. He oversees all of the company’s global design centers across all of their brands. In a private tour at corporate headquarters, AMERICARNA is granted an exclusive look behind the creative curtain at General Motors. From the global review studio, the color lab, to the clay modeling floor, Ray gets a 360 degree perspective at the making of GM models and a rare glimpse at the company’s original concept cars that never made it to production.
